Our handmade paper is sourced from Thailand and is made employing traditional techniques using bamboo mould/deckle.
Due to the nature of the traditional mould and the uneven quality of deckled edges, the dimensions of each sheet of handmade paper will vary slightly typically up to 1cm.

Most of the papers listed under 'handmade paper' on this website are made from mulberry, which is known in Thailand as 'saa'. The saa tree grows abundantly in the wild all over South East Asia.

Colours:
Every effort is made to give a true representation of the colours of the papers on our website. However, due to the way that different computer monitors display colour you may not see the intended tone. Also due to the production process there will sometimes be a slight variation in colour between each batch of paper.
If you have a special need for paper that would require very precise colour matching please advise us when you place the order.

Weight:
Our suppliers have provided the most popular weights of paper within their collection and these are always held in stock.
We are able to quote for the same papers in other weights - handmade paper up to 160gsm. These can be made to your required specifications, please advise us when you place the order.
